About Happy Lamb Hot Pot

Located at 5901 Westheimer Rd Ste a, Houston, TX 77057, Happy Lamb Hot Pot operates as a hot pot serving Houston in Texas. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 am–10 pm. Houston is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Traffic in Houston peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I love this location so much!! They always take care of their customers & the service is amazing. Don’t even get me started on the variety of food in their buffet. From noodles to veggies to different protein. Going to another location made me realize how much of a gem this one is.

Great hot pot experience. A respectable price at $38 per person for the premium option. All the meat and noodles were fantastic. Only down side was the dessert. The chcolate cake was good but the coconut cake was not good.

Was a little upset that they raise the prices since end of last year, especially now that the lamb shank from the premium AYCE is $2.99 extra per piece, plus the new $2 per person soup base charge. But I get it, it’s inflation. So we decided to go for the classic all you can eat($22.99 for lunch) rather than the premium all you can eat ($35.99 for both lunch and dinner) that we were planning for. The meat quality was decent(except for the garlic beef tasted too salty. I think it’s better to keep the seasoning to the minimum, since you dip in sauces anyway). Spicy soup base was not too spicy but I liked the non-spicy one better. My friend and I also greatly enjoyed the cooked food options such as fried chicken wings, sweet and sour chicken, fried buns, fried noodles as well as the plum juice.

Sister store to the one on Bellaire, but this location has a few more items that are not available at other Location. Service was excellent , with refills coming a few minutes after ordering even during peak lunch hours. This location also had a few more sauces that made it good. We ordered the premium dinner which had the absolute best of all their best cuts, and it did not disappoint. The braised slow cook oxtails were awesome , reminded me of soul food πŸ˜‰. The drink selection is also better with a very addictive plum juice . Still a very good value for lunch even at today’s prices , the only downside to this location is maybe parking during peak hours, but besides that, it deserves a visit, especially for large parties.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!! It’s the day after Thanksgiving, and we are tired of leftovers, so me and my daughter went on a quest to find a restaurant with a soup that will make us feel like home, and granted we are not Asian we are Mexicans, but these hot pot place truly hit the spot! From the friendly staff to the amazing food! I love the fact that it’s a hot pot buffet restaurant, you choose your broth, I went with not spicy, and my daughter did spicy, and you can choose from a white selection of vegetables, seafood, greens, noodles, and you you get four meats at a time. Arby was so happy with the soup! We couldn’t ask for anything better! It’s very affordable and you get your money worth! Definitely coming back again!
